Just as Lou Gehrig lived his remarkable life, Iron Phi participants embody the spirit of determination, resilience, and courage. Through participants’ efforts to achieve unique and personal athletic endeavors, we are building a community of philanthropists who strive to leave ALS better than they found it while strengthening their Fraternity’s leadership programs.
Made up of individuals, Phi Delta Theta chapters, and ALS advocates as diverse as their interests, Iron Phis across the US and Canada have raised over $3.6 million dollars since the program’s inception in 2010. The Iron Phi program serves as a fitting tribute to Lou Gehrig’s legacy and his impact on both Phi Delta Theta and the fight against ALS.
Because of your support, we amplify the impact of each Iron Phi participant. Empowered by the collective efforts of passionate individuals like you, we can continue to support families affected by ALS, fund research, and honor Lou Gehrig’s legacy.
From July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, the Iron Phi program saw records broken for the third consecutive year. And it’s all because of you!
